Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, a royal scion, owns a remarkable collection of luxury and vintage cars.

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, the ‘Prince of Udaipur’ and descendant of Maharana Pratap, is widely recognized for his opulent lifestyle and passion for automobiles. His impressive collection includes luxury vehicles like Rolls Royce and vintage classics from the colonial era. Lakshyaraj also takes pride in owning Indian-made vehicles, such as the Mahindra Thar 700, a limited edition SUV presented to him in 2019 by Mahindra & Mahindra chairman Anand Mahindra.

In September, Lakshyaraj became the first owner of the BSA Gold Star 650 motorcycle in India, priced between ₹3.02 lakh and ₹3.37 lakh. The bike features 45.6 horsepower, dual-channel ABS, and six color options, showcasing his love for both vintage and modern two-wheelers.

The Udaipur Royals’ Feud

Although crowned as the ‘Prince of Udaipur,’ Lakshyaraj’s royal lineage is entangled in disputes over the rightful heir to the throne. His grandfather, Bhagwant Singh, disowned his elder son Mahendra Singh in favor of his younger son, Arvind Singh, as the executor of the royal properties. This decision led to a rift within the family.

Recently, the appointment of Vishvaraj Singh, Mahendra Singh’s son, as the chief of Chittorgarh Fort reignited tensions and triggered protests. Despite these disputes, the Mewar family’s net worth is estimated to be around ₹10,000 crore, according to reports.

Lakshyaraj continues to be a prominent figure, blending traditional royal heritage with modern interests, symbolized by his eclectic collection of cars and motorcycles.
