Ruckus at Rave Party on Kas Plateau: Assault with Liquor Bottle, Five Accused
A violent altercation disrupted a rave party at a hotel near the Kas Plateau, leading to police intervention and a case against five individuals.
Satara: The tranquil surroundings of the Kas Plateau, renowned as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination, were disturbed by an incident of violence during a rave party on Saturday night. The altercation, which involved the use of a liquor bottle as a weapon, resulted in injuries and police action.

The incident occurred around 10:30 PM at a hotel in the village of Ekiv, Taluka Javali, where a group of individuals had gathered to celebrate with music and alcohol. According to the police, the complainant of Jakatwadi, Satara, had gone to the hotel for dinner with friends. While they were there, a group of dancers was performing to loud music.
The situation escalated when a drunken suspect allegedly hit the complainant’s friend on the head with a liquor bottle without any provocation. When he questioned the suspect, an argument ensued, during which the complainant was also attacked. The suspect struck him on the head and back with the same bottle, while accomplices reportedly joined in, abusing and assaulting him further.
The accused have been identified and a case has been registered at Medha Police Station under the guidance of Assistant Police Inspector and an investigation is currently underway.
Authorities have highlighted the seriousness of the assault, as the suspects allegedly attempted to escalate the attack to life-threatening levels. This incident has drawn attention to the unchecked organization of rave parties in sensitive areas like the Kas Plateau, prompting calls for stricter regulations and monitoring to prevent such occurrences in the future.
