Amid the persistent speculation regarding the divorce of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, an archival video featuring Bollywood icon Salman Khan has reemerged on social media platforms.
“Uske baare mein kya kahu sir. I just wish that, you know, I believe in one thing your personal life is your personal life. If I go to defend this, then sir, somewhere someone was a part of your life and you’d be denying it,” Actor Salman Khan had said when he appeared in the Aap Ki Adalat show. He was responding to a question about whether the rumors of his abusive relationship with Aishwrya is true.
Salman has rarely discussed his dating life publicly, but he did make an appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, where he commented on Aishwarya’s marriage to Abhishek.
Aishwarya Rai, now married to Abhishek Bachchan, was said to have had a romantic involvement with Salman Khan in the past.
“The best thing to do is stay silent. Itne saal beet gaye hai, you know, she is someone’s wife, married into a big family. I am very happy that she is married to Abhishek. I think Abhishek is a great guy. This is the best thing any ex-boyfriend would want. You don’t want, once your friendship is over, you don’t want that person to be miserable without you. You want that person to be really really happy without you. So that, ek selfish reason bhi hogya, there’s no guilt on your head. But it’s the best way to see it. That’s how I feel,” this is what Khan candidly told when asked about Aishwarya’s marriage with Abhishek.
Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai’s relationship, which concluded in 2002, was marked by controversy, including claims of possessiveness and reports of abusive conduct attributed to Salman. One alleged incident involved him shattering a glass window or mirror at Aishwarya’s residence during an outburst of anger.
The renewed popularity of the video on social media coincides with growing speculation regarding potential issues in the marriage of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Their individual appearances at events, such as the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, have further intensified these rumors.
