Samsung is addressing user worries by providing a complimentary display replacement for those experiencing the green line problem. This issue has been widespread this year, with OnePlus and Vivo also facing device complaints. Samsung is not only addressing consumer concerns but is also expanding the replacement program to include more Galaxy phones, bringing relief to many phone owners.

The company has included the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S21 FE in its free display replacement program, which will be available until December 31, 2024. If you own any of these Samsung models and are experiencing the green line issue on your display, you should visit the nearest authorized Samsung support center to take advantage of the offer.

Keep in mind that the company will likely request the purchase bill to verify the device’s purchase date, which is necessary for starting the replacement process. Additionally, Samsung requires that the phone be within a three-year period and that the original owner is the one seeking the replacement to be eligible. While the display replacement itself will be free, expect the service center to charge for the labor involved in replacing the unit.

The green line issue has mainly shown up on phones with AMOLED screens, including those from OnePlus. This has led to a lot of problems for the brand, pushing them to expand their free replacement support to keep customers from turning away from their devices.

On top of that, Samsung is going to be busy with the rumored early launch of the Galaxy S25 series next year. Reports suggest that the company might reveal its new flagship phones along with Android 15 in January, which is a few weeks earlier than they usually do.
