Schools in Pune to remain closed till December 13

Pune Municipal Corporation Mayor Murlidhar Mohol on Saturday November 21, 2020 announced that schools in Pune shall remain closed till December 13.

Even after the state government allowed to open schools and also when PMC issued a statement recently that schools can open their premises for class 9 to 12 .. With the increasing cases of Covid19 in the city post Diwali many parents had opposed the reopening of schools.

Mohol further said that schools shall remain closed till December 13.

All PMC run as well as private schools shall remain closed till further notice. A decision would be taken after speaking with parents organisations and keeping in view the current situation of Covid19 pandemic.
