Shakti Dubey Secures AIR 1 In UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024; Over 1,132 Government Posts To Be Filled
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024, with Shakti Dubey emerging as the All India Rank 1 topper. Harshita Goyal secured the second position, followed by Dongre Archit Parag in third place.
A total of 1,132 vacancies across various services will be filled through this recruitment cycle. This includes 180 positions in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), 147 in the Indian Police Service (IPS), 605 posts in Central Services Group ‘A’, and 142 in Group ‘B’ Services.
The UPSC conducted personality tests (interviews) for 2,845 shortlisted candidates between January 7 and April 17, 2025. The interviews were held in two shifts — at 9 am and 1 pm — for those who qualified the Mains exam.
The registration process for CSE 2024 was open from February 14 to March 5. The marks obtained by the successful candidates will be made available on the official UPSC website (upsc.gov.in) within 15 days of result declaration.
