Shark Tank India 4’s Aman Gupta says ‘rongte khade hogaye’ upon hearing a heartfelt pitch from a cancer patient for a brand Alia Bhatt is eager to support
The trio of doctors showcased their stress-relief wearable gadget on the latest Shark Tank India episode, which kicked off its fourth season recently. Doctors Siddhant, Shalmali, and Mitansh introduced their brand InnerGize, which offers a wearable device that gives a gentle electrical boost to the vegus nerve, aiming to reduce stress and activate the parasympathetic nervous system.

Siddhant led the pitch and shared that the concept was inspired by personal challenges. They sought Rs 54 lakh for a 1.5% stake, valuing their company at Rs 36 crore. Siddhant mentioned that the product hasn’t hit the market yet, and they plan to retail it for Rs 5000. Initially focusing on businesses, their long-term vision is to transform InnerGize into a direct-to-consumer brand. Siddhant also revealed that, like his father and grandfather, he pursued a medical career but couldn’t practice due to being diagnosed with lupus at 22.
Then at the age of 26, he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Siddhant’s determination and strength left a lasting impression on all the ‘sharks’, including Kunal Bahl, Vineeta Singh, Azhar Iqubal, Ritesh Agarwal, and Aman Gupta. Aman remarked, “Rongte khade hogaye (I have goosebumps).”
Aman questioned the entrepreneurs about how their device differed from a regular massage. “Is this a medical champi?” he inquired, to which Siddhant confirmed, “Yes, it’s exactly that.” The pitchers showcased a live demonstration of the device, explaining that it simply supports a person’s mental wellbeing. They also mentioned that the device has received endorsements from psychiatrists, therapists, and neurologists. Siddhant added that they have already raised crores in funding, stating, “Finance with Sharan has invested, and Alia Bhatt is interested.”
Ritesh was the first ‘shark’ to make an offer, expressing his eagerness to get involved. He agreed to the entrepreneur’s terms, while Kunal and Vineeta decided not to proceed, mentioning the uncertainty regarding the product’s potential at this time. Azhar also matched Ritesh’s offer, fulfilling the pitcher’s conditions. Meanwhile, Aman highlighted his expertise in wearable technology and offered the requested Rs 54 lakh, but in return for 2.5% equity. The entrepreneurs asked for a moment to think it over, but before they could respond, Aman, Ritesh, and Azhar collectively proposed Rs 75 lakh for 3% equity.
The entrepreneurs were thrilled by the interest and countered with a request for Rs 1.08 crore for 3% equity. Siddhant also suggested offering a discount on the next funding round, which Aman quickly declined. After some back-and-forth, they agreed on Rs 1 crore for 4.2% equity, and the entrepreneurs secured a deal.
