Shocking: 15-year-old drowns in canal in Janata Vasahat area in Pune; search operations on
Today (9th March 2024), a shocking incident took place as a 15-year-old boy has died as he has drowned in the canal opposite to Municipal Fire Station in Janata Vasahat area.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, a PMC fire officer, requesting anonymity, shared details “When we got to know about this incident today, we immediately went to the spot & started search operations. As the canal is very near to the Fire Station, we were able to start the operation immediately. Currently, the body is being searched as search action is going on.”
The officer further said that the search operation is going on with the help of a rope, life jackets and more. Six to seven officers are doing the search operation & soon, the body of the boy will be recovered.
