Shocking : Luxury boat catches fire near Alibaug

Pune: At Mandwa, close to Alibaug in Mumbai, a luxurious boat caught fire on Saturday afternoon. Since the fire was in the sea, it took a while to douse it.
As per information, two persons were on board when the fire broke out, according to the Mandwa Port inspector of the Maharashtra Maritime Board. Both persons suffered burn injuries. Although the fire department was called, not much assistance was provided because this was occurring in the middle of the sea. There was plenty of fuel in the boat, and it burned for a very long time. The cause of the fire is unknown.
The company, owning the luxury boat, said that the boat that caught fire was a speed boat cruise. The 33-foot boat had seating for eight to ten people, but there were only two crew members on board when the fire broke out.
The managing director of the boat company said that the engine had been turned off while the boat was in anchorage. They are not sure how the fire broke out on the boat.
