Shocking: Persons try to burn alive woman in Kharadi over parking-related scuffle
Crime rate is increasing in Pune from last few days. Koyta gang has created havoc in many areas of the city. Despite the Pune Police Commissioner’s various steps to curb the menace several crime related incidents are still going up.
A shocking case of a woman being burnt alive over a parking dispute has come to light.

This incident happened in Kharadi area. An attempt was made to pour petrol on the woman and set her on fire, but a major disaster was averted as the woman ran away to the house. A case has been registered in Chandannagar police station and CCTV footage of the incident has also come to light.
The accused smashed the front and side windows of the plaintiff’s four-wheeler with a wooden stick for parking the car. Petrol was poured on the front seat of this car and the car was set on fire.
After that, they broke the tank of a bike standing there and damaged it. Due to this, the people of the area gathered there. At that time, the accused threatened that he would not let go if anyone tried to interfere.
The incident took place at Tukaram Nagar in Kharadi area on Saturday (February 17) at 9:45 PM.
Ten unknown accused including Dheeraj Sapate, Akash Gaikwad, Suraj Borude, Vishal Sasane have committed this crime. Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Chandannagar police station in this case. Police has informed that further investigation is going on regarding the incident & the accused have been arrested.
