Hyderabad, Aug 29 :  Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), located near Shamshabad, has received a hoax email regarding a bomb threat.

The incident occurred on Monday, but it came to light on Tuesday.

Alerted airport security personnel promptly responded upon learning of the information. A thorough inspection of the airport premises was conducted. Following exhaustive investigations and searches, security officials confirmed that no explosives were present.
