Shocking !!! Robbery on Pune Nanded Express; Probe On

A shocking incident took place on 5^th December inside the Pune-Nanded Express, near Daund Chord Line railway station, where 5 to 6 people robbed several passengers.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, a Pune Railway Police Officer, requesting anonymity, said “On 5^th December (Tuesday) night time, the Pune-Nanded Express had to stop before Daund Chord Line station as another train had stopped on the Daund Chord Line station. During that time, the accused had come to the location where the train was stopped & by threatening to attack the passengers, looted several passengers of nearly Rs 2 Lakh. Soon, a case was registered with the police by a passenger who was looted.”

Further information states that after looting the passengers, the accused threw things at passengers to prevent them from exiting the train & following them.

As per further information shared by the police officer, a case has been registered against the 5 to 6 accused under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) & Section 152 of the Railway Act 1989. Further investigation is going on.
