Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust celebrates 39th anniversary

Pune: Pune witnessed great enthusiasm and zeal as the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Trust, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal had organized Gudhi Pujan at the temple on the occassion of 39th anniversary of the Ganpati Temple. The Gudi Padwa celebrations were marked by the chanting of mantras, rangoli, processions, and an attractive arrangement of flowers.

On the day of Chaitra Shuddha Pratipada, people of Pune thronged in large numbers to have darshan of Lord Ganesha from early morning. Sandeep Singh Gill, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone I performed Gudi Puja and aarti of Lord Ganesha.

The Prabhat band offered their services to the people, while various religious programs including Ganesh Yaag and Abhishekam were also organized on this occasion. Sandeep Singh Gill expressed his wish for the New Year to be filled with happiness, peace, and joy. He also commended the social activities carried out continuously by the trust and hoped that the wealth of human service would continue through social welfare activities.

Manik Chavan, the Trust President, announced the music festival that will take place from March 22 to 30, between Gudhipadwa and Ramnavami, as a part of the 39th-anniversary celebration of the Ganpati temple. He highlighted that the festival would feature the performance of legendary artists from across the country, including Pune. These veteran artists will perform their art at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch every day from 7 to 10 pm, and the festival is open for free to the fans.
