Singer Palak Muchhal Enters Guinness And Limca Records For Funding 3,800 Heart Surgeries
Renowned playback singer Palak Muchhal, celebrated for her melodious voice and hit songs such as Meri Aashiqui, Kaun Tujhe, and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, has achieved a remarkable milestone — earning a place in both the Guinness Book of World Records and the Limca Book of Records. However, this recognition is not for her musical achievements but for her extraordinary humanitarian work.
Through her Palak Palash Charitable Foundation, Palak has helped fund over 3,800 heart surgeries for underprivileged children across India and beyond, transforming her passion for music into a mission of compassion and hope.
Palak’s philanthropic journey began in childhood when she encountered impoverished children during a train journey. Deeply moved, she made a silent vow to help them someday — a promise that has since guided her life. Today, she donates her concert earnings and personal savings to provide life-saving medical treatments for children in need.
Her kindness extends beyond healthcare. Over the years, Palak has supported families of Kargil martyrs and donated ₹10 lakh towards Gujarat earthquake relief efforts, reflecting her unwavering empathy and social commitment.
Even as her musical career reached new heights, Palak remained dedicated to her charitable mission. Her inclusion in both prestigious record books underscores her rare combination of artistic excellence and humanitarian service.
Standing beside her in this journey is her husband and music composer Mithoon, who shares her philanthropic spirit. Speaking about their foundation’s mission, Mithoon once said, “Even if there’s no show, no income – a child’s surgery will never stop.”
Palak Muchhal’s story is a shining example of how fame can be used not just to entertain but to transform lives and inspire kindness.
