Special Train To Run On Pune-Delhi-Pune Route for 98th All India Marathi Literary Meet In February 2025
Pune/Delhi, November 30, 2024:
The 98th All India Marathi Literary Meet, a proud moment for Marathi-speaking people, will be held in the nation’s capital, New Delhi, from February 21 to 23, 2025. Thousands of literary enthusiasts from across Maharashtra are expected to attend this prestigious event.
“To facilitate travel for attendees, a special train has been arranged between Pune and New Delhi. The train will operate from Pune to New Delhi on February 19, 2025, and return from New Delhi to Pune on February 24, 2025. This arrangement was made following a request to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who positively responded and issued directives to organize the special train,” stated Murlidhar Mohol, State Minister for civil Aviation.
This initiative will ease travel for participants and further enhance the significance of the event, added Mohol.
The meet coincides with the celebration of Marathi as a classical language and serves as a moment of pride for the Marathi community, showcasing its rich literary heritage in the country’s capital.
