Sports Teacher From Nigdi School Accused Of Molesting Minor For 3 Years, Case Revealed After Badlapur Incident Â
A shocking incident has come to light in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where a 12-year-old minor girl has filed a complaint against her PT teacher, Nivritti Kalbhor, for molestation. What’s even more disturbing is that this is not the first time Kalbhor has been accused of such a crime. In 2018, he was charged for molesting another minor girl in the same school.
Despite his previous crime, Kalbhor was reinstated by the school, and has now been accused of molesting another minor girl over a period of four years, from 2021 to 2024. The victim has alleged that Kalbhor would touch her inappropriately, and follow her to the washroom.
The case came to light after the Badlapur incident, which sparked a wave of outrage against atrocities in Maharashtra. The victim, who had endured the abuse for four years, finally found the courage to speak out and informed her class teacher, who reported the matter to the principal.
DCP Swapna Gore has taken swift action in the case, registering a case against Kalbhor and the school’s principal, Ganoshotsav Ashok Jadhav, as well as the trustee, Sophia Education Trust president Rohidas Balbhim Jadhav, and several others. All the accused have been arrested. The incident has raised questions about the school’s role in reinstating a convicted molester and allowing him to continue working in the school again.
