The registration offices across Maharashtra will remain closed on Saturday, July 27, due to a crucial data migration process. The data, currently held by ESDS in Navi Mumbai, will be transferred to the Advance Data Center, as part of an upgrade ordered by the Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, Hiralal Sonawane.

The migration process, starting at 9:30 PM on Friday, July 26, and continuing through Saturday, will involve the transfer of all leave data from ESDS. The operation is expected to take approximately 24 hours, during which time all registration services, including the registration of ‘Aisarita’ Dast, will be unavailable.

The order specifies that while all registration offices will be closed on Saturday, registration services will resume on Sunday, July 28, at those offices that remain open.

This temporary closure aims to ensure a seamless transition to the new data center and improve the efficiency of registration services across the state.
