SCERT has instructed schools to suspend all other activities during the assessment period, with a 100% attendance rate mandatory for students in the selected schools. Officials from national and state levels will visit participating schools to monitor the process.

This assessment is part of a nationwide effort to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of education across districts. It is also part of PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development), a national initiative designed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
