Strong Public Response to NCP Padyatra in Mahalunge, Amol Balwadkar Highlights Local Development Agenda

Baner: The padyatra organized by the Nationalist Congress Party in Mahalunge received an enthusiastic response from local residents. Participation was noticeably higher across different parts of the area as leaders went door to door, interacted with families, and discussed civic amenities, ongoing development works, and expectations from the upcoming term.

Amol Balwadkar played a prominent role during the outreach. He focused his conversations on practical development issues affecting Mahalunge and surrounding settlements. Balwadkar underlined infrastructure upgrades, civic administration, and future planning as key priorities, stressing the need for consistent execution on the ground.

The padyatra also saw the participation of official NCP candidate Gayatri Medhe-Kokate, along with Baburao Chandere and Parvati Nimhane. Leaders used the campaign to explain their roadmap for ward-level improvements and engage directly with first-time and senior voters.

This week’s event also drew attention as several former BJP office-bearers who recently joined the NCP during the Vijay Sankalp Yatra took part and offered visible support. Among them were former BJP Sarpanch and Sampark Pramukh for Kothrud Assembly Kaluram Gulab Gaikwad, and former deputy Sarpanch and president of Sus-Mahalunge Rajendra Bhima Padale, along with several other influential local representatives.

A number of social and community leaders from the locality were present, adding weight to the event. Party organizers said the turnout reflects growing awareness and expectations among residents regarding civic issues. Citizens used the interactions to openly present their concerns, suggestions, and development priorities to the leadership.

With increasing local support in Mahalunge, NCP leaders see the momentum as strategically important ahead of the PMC elections.
