Suggestions and objections sought from Salunke Vihar road residents
For the last few years, residents of Kondhwa, mainly from Salunke Vihar road often complained about traffic congestion. The illegal hawkers, haphazard parking, narrow road due to encroachments led to increase in congestion. Often Police took action against those causing traffic but there was no permanent solution to the problem.
In a bid to resolve the issue, Kondhwa Traffic Police have chalked out a plan of dedicated parking areas for two as well as four wheelers and no parking zone too.
Kondhwa Traffic Division, under the Pune City Traffic Police has proposed dedicated parking for two and four wheelers and No Parking on Salunkhe Vihar road.
The Pune City Traffic Police is seeking suggestions and objections from the residents of the area regarding the proposed dedicated parking for two and four wheelers and No Parking on Salunke Vihar road.
“The residents can send their suggestions between October 14-25,2021 to the Pune City Traffic Police, Yerwada, ” said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Rahul Shrirame, Pune city Traffic Police in a letter issued recently.

- Laxmi Narayan Chivda to New Dry Fruit Store – 100 meter – Two wheeler parking – J to K
- Jockey Store, Girme store – Unique Shop – 130 meter – Two wheeler parking – T to U
Four Wheeler Parking –
- Green Acres to Largo Pizzeria – 40 meter – A to B
- Chai hotel to Surya Agencies – 100 meter – C to D
