Swimming pool to open for athletes and fully vaccinated people ; informs Ajit Pawar

In the weekly review meeting held at the Council Hall in Pune, deputy chief minister and Puns district guardian minister announced that the swimming pools can remain open for athletes and for fully vaccinated people.

The decision for opening schools and colleges is delayed for one week due to surge in cases in the city.

Pawar instructed that swimming pools must be open for athletes and fully vaccinated people. Saturday and Sunday must be used for vaccination of senior citizens. Also expedite the vaccination for 15-18 years age group. More than 51 percent children in this age category have been vaccinated. Since last week over 32,922 cases have been reported in the district. In PMC, 275 bedded Covid care center has been started at Rakshak Nagar Krida Sankul. Over 108 percent people have taken first dose while 77 percent have taken the second dose.
