Temporary traffic changes near Jambhulwadi Bridge; Check details

The Pune Traffic Police have issued temporary traffic changes from January 4 to January 20 due to repair work at Jambhulwadi Bridge.

As per further information from Pune Traffic Police, Pune Police, on behalf of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), from 4/1/2024 to 20/1/2024, expansion joint repair work of the Jambhulwadi bridge on Pune-Satara Road will be done. Hence, it is necessary to make changes in traffic in the said area from the point of view of safety so that there is no obstruction or any kind of traffic issues during the said work.

Thus, the following temporary changes are being made for the traffic at Jambhulwadi Bridge area :

·         From January 4 to January 20 2024 one of the three lanes on Jambhulwadi Bridge on Pune Satara Road towards Satara side will be closed and the said traffic will travel through the remaining two lanes.

The change in traffic is a preemptive measure intended to prevent disturbances and guarantee commuter safety while the repairs are being made. It is recommended that commuters in the region to make appropriate travel plans and follow the temporary traffic patterns put in place while the expansion joint repair of the Jambhulwadi bridge is underway.
