Three dead as autorickshaw falls into well in Saswad

Pune: Three people died in an autorickshaw accident that took place in Saswad on Monday late evening.Â
As per information, the incident occurred when the auto-rickshaw was carrying passengers, including a couple, from Dhayri in Pune to Jejuri fell into a well near Saswad. The accident claimed the life of a young woman along with the couple while the police were able to rescue the remaining two passengers.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. The incident occurred on Monday evening at approximately 8 p.m. Upon investigation, the Saswad police found two men in the well. The police were able to rescue the two individuals safely. However, the couple and the young woman died in the accident. Police are further investigating the case.
