Traders association in Pimple Saudagar complain about delay in development projects

Shopkeepers association in Pimple Saudagar have been demanding beautification of footpaths, resolve parking issues at Simran Chowk in front of Govind garden, Pimple Saudagar.

The complaint was immediately addressed by corporator Shatrughna Kate. He spoke to the people and called the officers of smart city project and instructed them to complete the work as soon as possible.
“I got to know about the issue of shopkeepers facing footpath and parking issue as the work is still not completed yet. I called the concerned officers who are working on the project and instructed them to finish the work, ” informed local Corporator Shatrughna Kate.

“We are trying to finish the work soon. Under smart city we are working on footpaths, cycle track concrete road, making the level of road, parking for vehicles. It will take almost 2 months to complete the work, ” said deputy engineer, smart city, PCMC.

“Our committee members were facing the issue of parking and footpaths. As we raised the issue to corporator Shatrughna Kate, immediately he took action and contacted the respective officer and asked them to resolve the issue as soon as possible,’ said Bharat Kate, Chairman, Shopkeepers Association, Pimple Saudagar.

“Road work is still going on in Pimple Saudagar. And after our complaint the work is at great speed. It moved only when we expedited the matter with Shatrughna Kate,” said Ramesh Choudhary, Bayal Sweets, Pimple Saudagar.

“Our problem is solved now. We faced many issues since the delay in work. Footpath was dug up at many places. There was lot of waste lying unattended, ” informed Mangilal Chaudhary, national super market, Pimple Saudagar.

“The work is still going on. After our complaint the work is in progress now, earlier the contractor was working very slowly, now they are working rapidly and the work is almost in the completion phase, ” stated Sohanlal from Shivam Hardware, Pimple Saudagar.
