Traffic diversion in Camp for Christmas celebrations

Christmas celebrations are held in a grand way on Mahatma Gandhi road, Pune Cantonment area which attracts people from across the city. To avoid traffic congestion, Pune City Traffic Police has issued a notification regarding the traffic diversions for December 24 and 25. The notification was issued by Vijay Kumar Magar, deputy commissioner of Police, Pune city traffic police on December 23, 2022.
The traffic diversions are applicable from December 24, 2022 from 7 PM onwards
Traffic coming from Y junction to M G Road will be stopped at 15 August chowk and will be diverted to Kureshi masjid and Sujata Mastani.
From Iskcon Mandir chowk to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar statue, Arora Towers, the traffic will be diverted to SBI House chowk towards right tp Teen Toph chowk straight till Lashkar police station.
Traffic will be closed from Volga chowk to Mohamad rafi Chowk, while it will be diverted to East Street road to Indira Gandhi chowk.
From Indira Gandhi Chowk the traffic will be prohoibited and diverted by Indira Gandhi chowk to Lashkar police station.
Traffic from Sarbatwala chowk to Mahavir chowk will remain closed and will be diverted from Taboot Street road.
