A heartbreaking incident has come to light from Dindori in Nashik district, where nine members of the same family lost their lives after their car fell into a well late on the night of April 3. The victims included six children, making the tragedy even more devastating for the local community.

How The Accident Happened

The family was returning home after attending a social function when the accident occurred around 10 pm. Their Maruti XL6 car reportedly went out of control near Shivaji Nagar in Dindori and plunged into a roadside well.

Preliminary information suggests that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal fall into the water-filled well.

Rescue Operation Through The Night

After receiving information, police, local administration and villagers rushed to the spot. A rescue operation was launched immediately with the help of cranes and swimmers.

The car was pulled out of the well around midnight, and all occupants were taken to hospital. However, doctors declared all nine people dead. Rescue efforts continued late into the night amid challenging conditions and crowd presence.

Victims Belonged To Same Family

All the deceased were members of the Dargude family from Indore village in Dindori taluka. The victims included men, women and six children, highlighting the scale of the loss suffered by a single household.
