Tragic Accident Claims Life Of Renowned Doctor on Samriddhi Expressway enroute Wardha

The Samriddhi Highway continues to be plagued by a series of unfortunate accidents, and the recent news of mother son duo’s car crash has shocked the community. This incident has cast a shadow over the compassionate reputation of a mother, sparking outrage in the local area. The incident has also led to the untimely passing of the Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Gitanjali Medical College Hospital in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

On a journey along the Samriddhi Highway, tragedy struck as Dr. Nutan Bedi’s car collided with a divider, resulting in a devastating accident. Dr. Nutan Bedi, a respected figure from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, lost her life at the scene, while her son, Dr. Gautam Bedi, sustained serious injuries. The incident occurred near Kelzar, leaving the community in shock.

Details reveal that Dr. Nutan and her son Gautam were en route to an event organized by the Health Department in Nagpur. Following the program, the mother and son embarked on their journey to Wardha via the Samriddhi Highway. Unfortunately, near Kelzar, while descending from Kelkeli Outer, Gautam lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collide with a divider. The car flipped multiple times, resulting in severe damage and proving fatal for Dr. Nutan Bedi. Her son, Dr. Gautam Bedi, endured serious injuries in the accident.

Swift action was taken as news of the incident spread. Both the highway authorities and Selu police quickly arrived at the scene. Dr. Gautam Bedi was promptly transported to Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital in Savangi for medical attention. Currently, he remains in intensive care, receiving treatment for his injuries. Meanwhile, Dr. Nutan Bedi’s body has been sent for postmortem examination.
