Tragic Accident on Pune-Mumbai Expressway: 5 Dead, 42 Injured After Bus Tractor Collision
NAVI MUMBAI: In a tragic incident on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway, a private bus collided with a tractor and fell into a ditch, resulting in the death of five people. The bus was carrying pilgrims to Pandharpur on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi.
DCP Navi Mumbai, Vivek Pansare, reported that the accident occurred while the bus was en route from Kesar village in Dombivli to Pandharpur. The collision left 42 passengers injured, who have been taken to MGM Hospital, while three have been admitted to a government hospital.
The condition of the injured is being closely monitored by the medical teams. Further details are awaited as investigations continue.
