Tragic Accident on Pune-Nashik Highway: Four Dead, Including 2-Year-Old, as Eicher Tempo Overturns on Toyota Car

Pune: A woman was seriously injured and her 7 year old son lost his life in a tragic accident that occurred on Dighi Alandi road in Pimpri Chinchwad on Thursday night. The victim is identified as Parth Pranav Bhosale and the accused is identified as Rahul Tapkir.
As per information, Parth accompanied his mother on a scooter from Charholi Chowk towards Dighi when the car struck them with a great force from behind, causing serious injuries to Parth’s mother. Parth fell off the scooter and was dragged for a distance of 700 to 800 meters by the car. Parth succumbed to his injuries as he got trapped under the car. Enraged residents apprehended the intoxicated Tapkir and handed him over to the Dighi police.
The Dighi police have taken Rahul into custody, and further investigation is underway.
