Tragic Death in Accident: Four Indians Killed as Tesla Crashes, Catches Fire in Canada
Siblings from Gujarat among victims; one woman survives after being pulled from burning vehicle
Four Indian nationals tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Canada after their Tesla collided with a pillar and erupted in flames. The victims, identified as siblings Ketaba Gohil (29) and Neelraj Gohil (25), were originally from Godhra, Gujarat. The accident occurred on Thursday while the group, residing in Brampton, was returning home after a dinner outing.
According to family sources, the Tesla electric car, driven by one of the passengers, crashed into a road divider before colliding with a concrete pillar. This resulted in igniting a fire that trapped the occupants inside. Both Ketaba and Neelraj, who had recently moved to Canada, were among those who succumbed to severe burn injuries at the accident site. Ketaba, a lab technician who moved to Canada six years ago, was accompanied by her brother Neelraj, who had arrived in January for studies and part-time work.
Witness reports indicate that four passengers, including the siblings, perished at the scene. A passerby intervened, managing to rescue one woman from the flaming vehicle, who survived and is currently receiving medical care.
The accident has left family and friends devastated, with condolences pouring in for the siblings and their companions. The Indian community in Canada and local authorities are providing support to the families affected by the incident. The circumstances of the crash, including the car’s collision with the pillar, are under investigation by local authorities.
