Tree Falls on Parked Car in Pimple Saudagar; No Injuries Reported
Immediate actions taken by Shatrughan Kate and Nana Kate to eased the situation at Kate Wasti when a tree fell on a car that was parked under it.

The falling of trees has been quite common, especially during the monsoon season. A similar incident took place in Kate Wasti, Pimple Saudagar. Today, due to a large tree falling on the main road, traffic came to a halt and the power supply was disrupted. The incident occurred between 5 and 5:30 pm. Traffic was halted for about half an hour.
Former Corporator Shatrughan Kate informed Pune Pulse that he had immediately notified the fire brigade and MSEB officials about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the concerned personnel arrived at the location and commenced the task of removing the fallen tree and restoring the power supply. Traffic began to move smoothly after the tree was cut down and removed within an hour.
Fortunately, no human injuries occurred as there was no one inside the car when the tree fell. Although the car was damaged, no casualties or injuries were reported due to the absence of any individual inside the car, said Kate.
The rainy season has witnessed many tree-falling incidents in Pune; however, the immediate actions taken by officials and authorities have effectively managed to control the situations.
