Tree Falls On Two Bikers On NIBM Road, Leaves Them Seriously Injured
A serious incident occurred on NIBM Road in Kondhwa when a large tree branch fell on a motorcycle carrying three individuals. The accident took place while the bikers were traveling from Anandpur Charitable Trust to ABC Farms chowk. Local resident Sachin Kadam, who witnessed the event, reported that at least two people sustained severe injuries due to the weight of the fallen branch.
Ex Corporator of NIBM Road Tanaji Lonkar who rescued the people, stated that the tree roots had become weak. The residents of the area have been asked to write a letter to the authorities to trim and remove those causing such accidents. PMC should take prompt action against any complaint raised by the residents.
Emergency services and officials from the Pune Municipal Corporation quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation and control traffic flow, which had been disrupted by the incident. Former corporator Nanda Lonkar confirmed that the injured riders were promptly transported to a hospital in Wanowrie for medical attention.
