Pimple Saudagar, 20th March: A major obstacle in the development of Pimple Saudagar has finally been resolved, as the long-pending concreting work of the 18-metre ‘Trioz–Jhulelal Tower’ road has officially commenced after several years of delay.

The project, which had been stalled due to technical and administrative challenges, has now moved forward following sustained efforts and consistent follow-ups by corporator Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate, along with corporators Anita Kate and Kunda Bhise. Local residents have expressed relief and satisfaction as work begins on this crucial stretch.

Considered a key road for traffic movement in the Pimple Saudagar area, this route connects multiple residential projects and serves as a vital link in the locality. However, issues such as land acquisition hurdles, technical discrepancies, and procedural delays had kept the project pending for years. Incomplete road conditions had led to severe dust problems and frequent traffic congestion, causing inconvenience to citizens.

To resolve these issues, Shatrughan Kate held multiple meetings with municipal authorities and persistently followed up with senior officials, eventually clearing all obstacles and ensuring the project’s execution.

Speaking on the occasion, Shatrughan (Bapu) Kate said, “It is deeply satisfying to fulfill the promise made to residents of Trioz and Jhulelal Tower societies, as well as the citizens of Saudagar, during the elections. This road is not just a concrete structure but a lifeline for connectivity in the area. Despite several technical challenges, we remained committed and ensured continuous coordination with the administration to get this work started. We aim to complete the project with quality and speed so that it can soon serve the public.”

With the commencement of the road work, office bearers of local housing societies and residents have welcomed the development. The initiative is being seen as a significant step toward making Pimple Saudagar a more efficient and well-connected urban area.

Prominent attendees at the event included entrepreneur Sandeep Kate, Sanjay Bhise, Dhananjay Bhise, along with several local citizens and party workers.
