Two arrested in Noida Hit-and-Run case
Noida police have arrested two suspects and recovered the car involved in a fatal hit-and-run incident in Sector 24.
In a tragic hit-and-run incident, Noida police arrested two suspects on Tuesday. The incident occurred in Noida’s Sector 24 on Sunday, resulting in the death of a man named Janak Dev.
According to the police, the accused hit Janak Dev with their car and fled the scene. The victim’s son, Pradeep, reported the incident. Pradeep informed the police that his father was struck by a car and succumbed to his injuries.
Manish Kumar Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida, stated that the police quickly initiated an investigation. “A case was filed, and we are actively investigating the matter,” he said.
The victim’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. The police have recovered the vehicle involved in the accident. Two teams are working to obtain CCTV footage from the area to get more details about the incident and confirm the involvement of the arrested individuals.
