From January 12 to January 14, flight operations on 2 runways of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) or Mumbai Airport will remain closed from 12 pm to 1 pm for the 3 days.

As per information from the X handle of CSMIA, “The Indian Air Force has planned an Aerial Display exercise at Mumbai. Due to this, Mumbai’s CSMIA runways (RWY 09/27 & 14/32) will remain non-operational from 12:00 hrs. to 13:00 hrs. on 12th, 13th and 14th January, 2024.”

The very next tweet says, “Passengers are urged to verify their scheduled flights with their respective airlines before heading to the airport during these days. Your cooperation is appreciated.”

As per further information from CSMIA, The Indian Air Force has planned an aerial display exercise in Mumbai. Due to this, both runways at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) – RWY 09/27 & 14/32 will remain non-operational from 12:00 hrs. to 13:00 hrs. on 12th, 13th and 14th January 2024.

A Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has already been issued in advance in this regard to streamline flight operations. Passengers are requested to check with their respective airlines on their scheduled flights before leaving for the airport during these 3 days.
