Unnati Foundation’s anniversary celebrated

Various competitions were organised for the residents of Pimple Saudagar area.

Kunda Bhise, president of Unnati Social Foundation, organised various competitions for the residents of Pimple Saudagar area, to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the foundation.

Making sustainable items from waste, painting and essay competitions were conducted. The prize distribution ceremony was held on July 17th in which President of Unnati Social Foundation, Kunda Bhise; social activist and entrepreneur Sanjay Bhise and many members of the foundation participated.

The competitions that were held saw the participation of more than 200 people. In the painting competition, Mihika Gotmare won the first prize, Aditi Kumhar won the second prize and Yashasvi Bhosale won the third prize. Siddhi Patil won first, Meenal Aggarwal second, and Arohi Shah won third in the category of durable goods from waste competition. Purva Sonwane won first, Priyanka Patil second and Kirti Firke third in the essay competition.

“Unnati Social Foundation, through constructive activities, has been contributing socially, culturally and ecologically to the Pimple Saudagar area. We have been working with the authorities to make our locality smart. In the painting and essay competition, the contestants expressed their views on the topic of environment and showcased their sense of social responsibility. Currently, we can contribute from our home to prevent the increasing amount of waste and the problems caused by it. The contestants have also given a message through the activity that we can also take a step towards waste elimination by relying more creatively on the option of ‘disposable to sustainable’ to reduce the amount of waste generated in our homes.” Said Kunda Bhise.

“Unnati Social Foundation always focuses on innovation and conducts interesting and useful activities. Unnati’s work to nurture the talent of children, youth, women, senior citizens is commendable.” said one of the parents.
