Due to the stormy rain and overcast skies, there has been a significant drop in maximum temperatures, bringing relief from the intense heat and humidity.
A warning has been issued for the possibility of thunderstorms and rain in Central Maharashtra and Eastern Vidarbha today, prompting a yellow alert from the Meteorological Department. The districts likely to be affected include Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Nashik, Satara, and Kolhapur in Central Maharashtra; Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in Marathwada; and Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, and Gadchiroli in Vidarbha.
