Vijnana Bharati and ISRO’s ‘Space on Wheels’ to visit Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park and Planetarium This Weekend
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 17 October 2024: Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), is excited to launch the ‘Space on Wheels’ project in Pune from 17th October 2024. This mobile exhibition aims to promote space science awareness and ignite curiosity among students. The tour will visit several institutions across Paschim Maharashtra, coordinated by Vijnana Bharati Paschim Maharashtra unit.
Space on Wheels will be ready for the enthusiasts to visit at Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park and Planetarium on 19th and 20th October 2024, (this Saturday and Sunday), from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm. Later the bus will available at SNBP school Rahatani, for school students and parents.
Along with the ‘Space on Wheels‘ exhibition, there will be a science exhibition for students, and several competitions will be organized to test their knowledge and creativity. All these activities will be held in collaboration with the host institution.
“Advances in space science have contributed greatly to the development of our nation. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has overcome many hurdles in the last five and a half decades in shaping Modern India and taken a leap into the space age, benefiting the entire mankind in various fields. A glimpse of this progress will be shown in this ISRO exhibition.” The Board of Directors, Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park has appealed, “the maximum number of students, teachers and citizens shall take advantage of this opportunity”.
