Viman Nagar Women’s Club Marks 7th Founder’s Day with a Vision for a Greener Pune
On the 10th of September, the Viman Nagar Women’s Club (VNWC) is set to celebrate its 7th Founder’s Day at Drome Anarna in Kharadi, Pune This special occasion will provide club members and dignitaries with an opportunity to reflect on their remarkable seven-year journey, celebrate their support system, and acknowledge their achievements. However, the focus extends beyond the past as the VNWC unveils its ambitious plans for the upcoming year.

Under the banner of “Clean and Green Pune,” the VNWC has adopted a motto that embodies their commitment to environmental sustainability. They firmly believe that by uniting their efforts, they can make a significant impact. They are initiating a mission that starts with individual responsibility – encouraging members to not only avoid littering but also to properly dispose of waste and support the Pune Municipal Corporation’s (PMC) endeavors.
Furthermore, the VNWC is taking proactive steps by forming a new “Maharashtra Police Mitra Sangathana” team for the year 2023/24. This initiative underscores their dedication to community safety and engagement.
In an effort to support underprivileged children’s education, the VNWC is organizing “Femina Blink,” a show with a noble purpose. This initiative reflects their commitment to giving back to society and making a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Health is paramount, especially in today’s world. To emphasize this, the VNWC is hosting a grand show, supported by Jahangir Hospital, featuring the “Jahangir Health Queen.” This initiative underscores the club’s concern for the well-being of the community.
Nearly 2000 individuals have been invited to attend this grand celebration, highlighting the VNWC’s commitment to inclusivity and community engagement.
