Videos depicting Vande Bharat passengers requesting train staff to take back nearly untouched food trays are gaining traction on social media.

Shared by user Akash Keshari (@akash24188) on X (formerly Twitter), the clips allege that the food served on the train was stale.

In one video, passengers were seen asking staff to remove their food trays, while another provided a close-up of the food packaged in tin foil. Keshari expressed disappointment in the caption, seeking a refund and tagging the official accounts of Indian Railways, Vande Bharat Express, and Railway Minister Ashwini.

“Hi sir I am in journey with 22416 from NDLS to BSB. The food that is served now is smelling and very dirty. Kindly refund all my money. These vendors are spoiling the brand name of Vande Bharat Express,” Keshari wrote while sharing the videos.

The video also caught the attention of Railways Seva, who assured the Vande Bharat passenger that the complaint had been officially registered on RailMadad.

“Your complaint has been registered on RailMadad and complaint no. has been sent through SMS on your mobile no.,” the complaint read. They also urged Keshari to share his PNR and mobile number, through direct message (DM), for further assistance.
