Viral Video: Bhavish Aggarwal Booked in Employee Suicide Case; Man Performs ‘Digital Gutter Snan’ For Ola Electric CEO
Deepak Goel, known for viral ‘digital snan’ videos, targets Bhavish Agarwal following allegations of workplace harassment.
Deepak Goel, a journalist who gained online fame for offering people virtual “digital snan” experiences in the holy waters of the Sangam in Prayagraj, has now drawn attention for a very different act. In his latest video, Goel performs what he calls a “digital gutter snan” for Bhavish Agarwal, the co-founder and CEO of Ola Electric Technologies Pvt. Ltd., following serious allegations connected to an employee’s death.
An FIR was recently registered against Agarwal after a Bengaluru-based employee, K Aravind, died by suicide. The complaint filed by Aravind’s brother alleges that prolonged workplace harassment, humiliation and denial of salary dues by senior management directly contributed to his death. The suicide note reportedly mentioned pending payments and lack of support from the company.
Goel claimed in his video that Aravind faced sustained mental pressure from Agarwal and other senior officials. He pointed out that, immediately after the FIR, an amount of ₹17 lakh was transferred into the victim’s account — a figure Goel finds “oddly specific,” suspecting it reflects the unpaid salary owed to Aravind.
According to Goel, similar complaints have surfaced before, with multiple employees alleging harassment and leaving the organisation. He further predicted that growing dissatisfaction could push the company towards possible shutdown within the next year.
The video has sparked widespread reactions online, many praising Goel for raising his voice. Comments ranged from humorous appreciation to strong support, including, “Uncle coming up with banger ideas to keep business running,” and, “The kind of heroes we need right now.”
Goel concluded the video by dipping a printed photo of Bhavish Agarwal into gutter water — completing the symbolic “gutter snan” that has now gone viral.
