Viral Video: New Car Loses Control On Pune-Nashik Highway In Bhosari, No Injuries Reported
Pimpri-Chinchwad, September 5, 2025: A newly purchased car went out of control in Bhosari on the Pune-Nashik Highway on Saturday evening, creating panic among motorists. Fortunately, no one was injured and no vehicles were damaged in the incident.
The mishap, which occurred around 6:30 pm, was captured on CCTV and has since gone viral on social media. As per initial information, a Pimpri-Chinchwad resident had just taken delivery of the car from a dealership in Adinath Nagar, Bhosari.
After completing the purchase formalities, the driver reportedly got confused between the brake and clutch, causing the vehicle to accelerate suddenly. The car sped onto the busy highway, broke through the divider, and came to a halt after colliding on the opposite side.
Despite the heavy evening traffic, no casualties or major damage were reported. Officials from the Bhosari Traffic Division and the Bhosari Police Station confirmed that no formal complaint has been registered regarding the matter.
