A viral video from Hanamkonda city, Telangana, has captured the internet’s attention after a hilarious mix-up involving the police and a man mistaken for a dead body. The video shows police officers pulling a seemingly lifeless body from a river, only for the ‘corpse’ to spring to life, much to the amusement of onlookers.

The incident began when the police received a tip-off about a dead body floating in the river. Rushing to the scene, they initiated a rescue operation, only to discover that the supposed dead body was actually a young man who had been taking a cooling dip to escape the heat.

Shared by a user named Priya Singh on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the video quickly went viral, amassing numerous funny comments.

Priya captioned the post, “The world is full of strange people. Bhai tried to lie down directly in the water to get relief from the heat, but the policeman thought it was a floating body. When pulled out, the person was found alive.”

Comments poured in, with one user laughing, “Hahaha… fun bro,”

While another quipped, “Poor AC must have freaked out from the blast.”

Upon questioning by the police, the young man explained that he had been relaxing in the lake to cool off after work. He revealed that he lives in Kavali, Nellore district, and works in a granite company in Kazipet. After finishing his work, he felt very hot and decided to sleep in the river. Interestingly, the youth mentioned that he did not have enough money to return to Kazipet from work and asked the police to lend him Rs 50 for his journey back.

The video has since been reshared multiple times, each version spreading even more bizarre and humorous messages, making it a viral sensation across social media platforms.
