“Viral Video: Youth Performs Pull-Ups on Highway Signboard 10m Above Road in Uttar Pradesh, Police Respond”
Social media has encouraged many users to take risks in hopes of becoming viral stars. There have been numerous reports of young people engaging in dangerous stunts for video content. Recently, a video surfaced online showing a young man performing pull-ups while hanging from a highway sign that is 10 meters above the ground in Uttar Pradesh.
The sign in the footage reads “NH 931, Munshiganj 06 (left arrow), Amethi 3.5 (right arrow).” The clip shows the individual doing pull-ups while gripping the metal structure, with another young man sitting atop the pole. The account @AmethiliveCom shared the video, stating, “A young man was seen doing pull-ups on the kilometer signboard, risking his life at a height of 10 meters above the road. The video was posted from an Instagram account named Sachin.”
In response, the Amethi Police quickly addressed the situation, stating they would investigate the incident. They confirmed on their official X account, “The matter is known to the Amethi Police Station. The viral video is under investigation, and appropriate legal action will be taken against those involved in the stunt according to the law.”
In July, a teenager from Mumbai, who gained attention on social media for his train stunts, tragically lost an arm and a leg when one of his stunts went wrong. Reports indicate that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) found him in a severely injured state.
Earlier in March, the Delhi Police arrested a man who was seen performing dangerous stunts with his SUV on the Najafgarh-Rajouri Garden route. According to ANI, police pursued the suspect and eventually seized the SUV at the Rajouri Garden Police Station.
