Wakad corporator Sandeep Kaspate donated Rs 5 lakh to the Indian army from his honorarium. This act is commendable and I am surprised to see the kind of dedication BJP corporators are showing towards social causes. They are setting an example of good work for the betterment of society.

Sandeep Kaspate paid Rs 5 lakh honorarium from his tenure of five years of being a Councillor to the Indian Army. BJP state president Chandrakant Patil stated that voters will definitely take note of his work as a social responsibility even while doing politics. Chandrakant Patil was speaking while he was addressing the party members at the Khandesh Maratha Mitra Mandal Hall at Nigdi.

Kaspate handed over the cheque to Chandrakant Patil in presence of former BJP city president and MLA Laxman Jagtap, Ravi Anaspure, BJP City Union General Secretary Amol Thorat, former chairman of the authority Sadashiv Khade, Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Chairman Adv. Nitin Landage, ruling party leader Namdev Dhake, General Secretary Vijay Fuge, Raju Durge and others were present.
