With the central government making people above 18 years age eligible for taking the vaccination, there is need of atleast two vaccination centers in Wanawadi and Ramtekdi ward office jurisdiction.

The current vaccination centers which are operational have a long queue of people already and with the vaccination starting for people above 18 years these centers will not be able to handle the crowd.

Local Corporator of Wanowrie Prabhag 25 and former Mayor of Pune, Prashant Jagtap has recently written a letter to the Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar requesting him to allot two more centers for the area where vaccination can be conducted. Jagtap said, “The present vaccination centers are already running full to their capacity, and with this initiative starting from May 1, 2021, the crowd will increase. Also, this might lead to more cases in the area.”

Jagtap has also requested the Commissioner to provide enough stock of vaccinations to the existing centers in Wanowrie ward office jurisdiction.
