This is not the first time Elvish Yadav has been involved in a physical altercation. Previously, he faced criticism for raising his hand against a person in a restaurant, citing objectionable comments about his mother as the reason. The situation escalated when Maxtern commented on Elvish’s meeting with comedian and rapper Munawar Faruqui. A case has been registered against Elvish Yadav for assault and threatening to kill at Gurugram Sector 53 Police Station.

Maxtern, in his video statement, mentioned that he had known Elvish since 2021 and agreed to meet, thinking it would be a discussion. However, the meeting turned violent, with Elvish and his aides attacking Maxtern. The incident has resulted in the registration of an FIR against Elvish Yadav and others under various sections of the IPC, but Maxtern expressed disappointment that attempt to murder charges were not included in the FIR.
