Actor’s spirited performance, joined by Deepika Padukone’s graceful presence, wins hearts online
Bollywood star Ranveer Singh brought his trademark energy to the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Antilia, breaking into an impromptu dance on the devotional song Deva Shree Ganesha.
Clad in traditional attire, Ranveer was seen passionately grooving and chanting “Ganpati Bappa Morya,” before embracing the singer on stage. Videos of his performance went viral, with fans hailing both his devotion and infectious enthusiasm.
“He’s the best person to invite to festivities—he truly knows how to celebrate life,” wrote one admirer on social media.
Ranveer’s wife, actress Deepika Padukone, joined him in offering prayers. Dressed in a golden ethnic suit with a yellow scarf, she was praised for her elegance and humility. Together, the couple was seen bowing before Lord Ganesha, showering petals and seeking blessings.
Fans were also treated to a surprise, Ranveer appeared clean-shaven after more than a year of sporting a heavy beard for his upcoming film Dhurandhar. Many dubbed it a return to “vintage Ranveer.”
Later in the evening, the couple was spotted at a city Ganpati pandal, where they offered prayers before making a quiet exit. Their daughter Dua, who turns one soon, was not with them.
On the work front, Ranveer will headline Aditya Dhar’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar, releasing December 5, 2025, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan and Akshaye Khanna. Deepika, meanwhile, is on a break post motherhood but is expected to return with Kalki 2898 AD 2 and Atlee’s next film with Allu Arjun.
