The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in the regions of Konkan, Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, and Vidarbha. Additionally, Marathwada will witness heavy rainfall at isolated places. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are expected in isolated spots in Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Along with this, squally winds with speeds of 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph are predicted along and off the Maharashtra coasts in the coming 24 hours.The situation demands preparedness and caution from residents and travelers in the mentioned areas, as these weather conditions could lead to flooding, landslides, and other related hazards.
