WhatsApp will now allow Android users to search messages by date: Read to know how it works.

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Meta CEO and co-founder, announced a new feature about WhatsApp. 

As per information, WhatsApp has announced that it is rolling out the “search by date” feature. for personal and group chats on Android devices. The feature was already available on other platforms including iOS, MAC desktop and WhatsApp web and will allow users to search for a specific message, photo or video sent on a particular date. Notably, users can only search for a chat on a particular date instead of specifying a date range.

WhatsApp is known for constantly updating itself according to its audience and making sure that the public never gets bored with the app and its features. 

“Ideal for revisiting a message that made you smile or double checking when you sent information to someone, searching by dates makes your chats easier to navigate,” said Mark Zuckerberg. 

You can easily use this feature by going to your personal or group chat and selecting the search option, there you will see an icon called ‘Calendar,’ after selecting the calendar enter the date that you would like the report, details, images and videos.

This feature has been initiated for seamless communication among the users. This tool will save time for the users simply by entering the date that they wish to view the photos, videos or messages.
